Hey Everyone!!
I hope everyone is staying cool. I know I'm trying to. It's summer and that means beaches, margaritas, and ice cream, not a bad combination huh? Well summer is not summer without having. . . duh, you guessed it (or not =P) some nice cold milk ice tea. I know from the last time I covered Big Straw Boba (BSB) I would include pictures of how the place looks. Here's the link if you haven't read it yet, Big Straw Boba Review . Well I got the pictures and I have a small review to go with it.
When I went back again I was greeted by one of the owners of the small franchise. He was really awesome and we talked about having him expand to the Camarillo since it needs an authentic boba place badly. This time I tried out their pudding and boba mix, pudding is also a traditional add-on to one's milk tea. So I tried it and it was a-okay, the pudding. The boba was great as always so right now for the boba it's two for two. I really wish the pudding was a little bit more flavorful? I think it's because it wasn't sweeter than what I was expecting. Despite that minor set-back, the milk tea was awesome and when everything was gone I really regretted not buying one more for after work. That being said, and from my last post about White Rabbit Cafe being closed, this is still one of my recommended locations to get some to-legit-to-quit boba places. So if you're in the 8o5 and you want to beat some of the heat (it's actually pretty nice out ^___^) then hit up Big Straw Boba. I wish I could but saving money (which I will explain why in another entry tomorrow).
