The place was really nice and the guy at the front was super informative with what they do. You order what they have or make your own pizza and it's a flat rate of $7.99 + tax. I went with the customize option and comparing Rev with Pieology was the variety of toppings. There was a ton to choose from and for me I grabbed a ton. After that they popped my pie in the oven and voila. They did have a special where you can have a beer for $8.99 but don't take my word for it.

Interior, sorry for the blur. I was standing by the entrance =P |
We took it to go; I wanted to eat it badly, the drive was too long. When we got home I noticed the packaging. It was a nice touch, didn't think I notice huh? The pizza was not as big as Pieology but we all know it's not the size of the pizza it's about taste. I was going for a sexual innuendo, I'll put one up later. So, I grabbed a slice with a little bit of everything, took a bite, chewed, swallowed, repeated. . . And repeated. . . .And repeated. Hmmmm, maybe the second slice is better; nope!! Oh boy was I disappointed. Really? Really?! The cheese was bland, the crust had no depth of flavor, the bacon was chewy-chewy, the chicken was saltier than expected, the basil lost some flavor as well, and the sun-dried tomatoes was okay.
I reluctantly finished my pizza because I did not want any evidence it ever happened and if I had leftovers I would have to go through the same disappointment again. Comparing this to Pieology, I say Pieology wins by a landslide. I won't go in depth because that's another entry for later. I was really hopeful for Pizza Rev, I am not willing to try it again; not worth the $8 PLUS tax. It's a convenient place to go hang out with friends and grab a beer, but for someone who is hankering for some really good pizza, any other option is your best choice.
