Boudin SF

It's been a while everyone and I am so eager to to share this place with you. I have been going up to NorCal for a while and I am ashamed to say this but I have passed this place many of times and not think twice to give it another go. I went to Boudin in SF about a year ago and solely tried the clam chowder bowl. Being told it was one of the best clam I had high expectations and when I had it, those expectations were not met. After a while I decide to give the place another go.

We went around a little after noon and the line was long and the place was packed. You know a place is good when you want the food then and there. I took a seat while Anthony stayed in line to order. He ordered the clam chowder and then a The Great with Bacon (grilled cheese with bacon) which comes with a salad.

We didn't wait too long (about 5-10 minutes) and bam! Oh man, my stomach was hankering for sourdough goodness. I took a bite of the sandwich and it was amazing!! Then I had some salad and it was da bomb! Last I took a couple of spoonfuls of perfectly heated chowder and my taste buds were having a party and my stomach was singing the gospel! I did not want that meal to end at all, but eventually it did and the servers were super awesome at what they were doing. That place was a very well maintained machine ^O^!! For splitting everything in half we were pleasantly full. More than we wanted to sit down and digest everything we had to jet so more people can enjoy their meal.The cost of everything was around $15 which I thought was SO worth it. ^^

Boudin you have fully redeemed yourself. I rather go to this location compared to the one near Pier 39; less tourists and all. My taste buds long for your bread and for your chowder but I thank you for canning it so I can bring it home and be reminiscent of our time together. You stay where you are in Vacaville cause I'll be back.
