Jasmine Blossom Thai Cuisine

Yesterday I went to training, drove on the San Mateo bridge, and I finally got Instagram. I was planning to go back to work and have lunch there but the Thai mosquito must have bitten me because I was itching for some Thai food! Plus I wanted to celebrate my first step towards independency from other social media places. Looked up some places near by where I was at, I was getting my bundt cake on at the time, and this was seriously on my way back home.

Jasmine Blossom is located on a busy block so parking may get difficult depending the time of day. After parking I walked in and I was shocked because on the outside it was nice and on the inside it was REALLY nice. So modern, so chic, so cozy. I loved it! The waiter was super attentive and gave me a corner seat which was great for me to people watch for a little bit before I started chowing down. Nah! I was really playing Tiny Tower. . . I can't help myself; pixelated games are too cute to pass up sometimes.

I ordered crab ragoon, pad thai with chicken, and a thai tea. Verdict on the crab ragoon: in short, I can and have made this at home before. It tasted as though I made it myself (I should totally blog about the recipe, I have now mentally noted that). The price is around what I would charge myself but knowing how much the ingredients cost it's almost like a peeled off band-aid, stings a little but you get over it quickly. Next was the pad thai. WARNING: Proceed with caution, can be too hot to handle, but it's super satisfying. If you don't mind sacrificing a couple of taste buds then by all means get down with yourself! Thai tea is thai tea at this point. It tasted similar to other thai teas I have had before. It wasn't a hot mess but it wasn't foodgasm overload. It was a compliment to the meal as well as my server. He was super attentive and filled my water and checked up on me and he was consistent with everyone else.

I would say this is cataloged of places near my work which I can definitely drive over to if I ever forgot my lunch and I'm hankering for some thai food. Or hankering for some thai food, more likely hankering for some thai food. Expect me to come back for some more pad thai Jasmine Blossom.
