Good morning world!!! Hope everyone is healthy and for those who are hungover hope you had a great one last night. I've been going back into my archives and I am behind in sharing a bountiful amount of places. Today it's going to be a Short-Simple-and-Sweet Sunday post.
When I went to
Ramen Dojo I found out quickly it was located in Downtown San Mateo. When I found out there was a Beard Papas I had to have it as my dessert.
As I got to the shop it looked as though it was closed for the day but then I saw a neon sign which read "Fresh Cream Puffs". Fresh cream puffs here I come and then it became an anime because my movements gradually decreased to a full stop as I noticed the inside was dim.

There was two employees sitting around with I guess already made cream puffs. A group soon came in afterwards and made an order. Looking over at their menu I thought they would have a variety of flavors for the day but to my dismay it was limited; I ordered a chocolate and vanilla cream puff. They gave me the cream puffs, I paid, and end of transaction.

With the disappointment in the atmosphere and the feel of late-night-gas-station attendant (nothing is happening and their bored) I went to vacuum one of the puffs. . . FRESH MY @$$!!! The bread and filling was cold; it felt so lifeless. The taste what gave it life, it was a perfect sweetness on how I imagined a cream puff to be minus the lack of freshness, $6 dollars for the two.
Beard Papa's in San Mateo you need to step up your game. People love their cream puffs and if you're going to be representing cream puffs in a commercialized setting at least be honest with your neon sign. A cold puff leaves a cold feeling, keep your puffs warm.
