Living in the East Bay can be a challenge when finding good food. When you're around the El Cerrito, Richmond, Albany areas there isn't much and I would almost say the same thing with Berkeley but I found out you have to entirely look for those food gems. That goes to show in the corner of El Sobrante (or not, the city lines are somewhat confusing) next to a Domino's is Sue's Kitchen. A friend of mine found Sue's Kitchen;we tried it once and fell head overs heels with the place. After a bad day of kayaking we found ourselves here again.

The place is small which accommodates I feel up to 30-40 people. We ordered the pad Thai, moo young (which was pork), and tom kai ga (which was a mushroom, chicken, with coconut, and basil soup). Almost forgot with Thai food we also had to get some Thai tea. We didn't wait long for our food to come out; the soup came first. I really can't say much about the soup because I don't know how it should taste. It was clean, didn't feel heavy, and the ingredients taste on spot.

As for the moo young and pad Thai, it was amazingly delicious. The pad Thai had this delicate flavor of the sauces and the moo young was tender with the right amount of fat. The servers were very polite and made sure to fill our water cups (when we said yes, also great for being aware of the drought still happening). This whole meal (with drinks included) came out to be $25 (excluding tip) TOTAL. You read that correctly, $25 *singing*!!!!
This place is located away from main shopping centers; in the outskirts of El Sobrante. Sue's is wallet and tummy friendly. I know happy wallet and happy tummy makes me a happy girl. Hope everyone is doing well and I will post up another entry soon. I swear!! Happy eatings ^____^
